Crouse Run - Allison Park, Pa

Where do I even begin? This location had never been investigated before, and in fact we had no idea there was going to be any activity at all. Natalie and I have hiked this nature trail many times, it’s a gorgeous little nature reserve. However, the last time we hiked it (just a few weeks before our investigation) we had felt a very odd sensation of being unwelcomed in what we now believe is the remains of the old trolly station.

I should mention the energy normally feels peaceful and relaxing similar to how it felt during the investigation. We had explored the cement remains of the trolly station multiple times before, but that time was different. It wasn’t necessarily a dark presence or negative it just felt as though we had entered someone else’s space without permission.

It left such an impact on us that we just knew we needed to go back and attempt to communicate with the energy. Obviously if you’ve watched our investigation video regarding this location you know that it didn’t disappoint.

During our investigation the area felt very calm and peaceful as I mentioned above. We didn’t get much activity at first and felt as though maybe we wouldn’t capture anything. Initially we thought our EVP session had proven unsuccessful until we got home and begin analyzing footage and audio. That’s when I noticed Nat’s recorder had caught the only EVP of the investigation.

The question I had asked moments before we captured it was: “The last time we were in here it felt very uncomfortable, like we weren’t welcomed. Is there a reason for that?” The EVP we captured seconds later simply says: “We do not want to be found.” This was an amazing discovery that sent chills throughout my whole body. Clearly intelligent and explained the lack of communication and evidence up until that point.

After our EVP session we moved into a spirit box session which had more intelligent communication. It seemed that we were speaking to multiple spirits, one of which asked us to “just give up.” The other spirit seemed more willing to communicate as it responded shortly after with “carry on.” Clearly one spirit was happy to have communication after who knows how long.

The evidence that we captured was astounding when piecing everything together. The history connected to the area, the evidence, the experience truly all are amazing. Did we capture enough to definitively say “Crouse run is haunted?” Well… it’s hard to say as it’s only ever been investigated one time. We’ll be going back for certain to conduct more investigations and try out different equipment.

If you watched the full video, you’ll know that if we hit a goal of 100 likes on the Crouse Run video, I will conduct a full investigation entirely alone. So, if you haven’t already watched click the link below and go like the video!
